.... flowers, tuxedos, my dress, bridesmaids, limo, and dj. WHEW!

Everything that needs booked is booked! Now I can get ahold of my friend to start the invitations. It's all coming together and the best part is... I'm not stressing at all. Bridezilla is not for me. (I'm surprised Bridezilla is actually in spell check! ) 

The groomsmen will be wearing vans old schools  and the ring bearer and flower girl in chuck taylors..awwwww. 

The next part we are working on is comprising a list of songs, picking our song, one for my dad and his mom. The dj is cool because he gives us a user name and password to view his catalog and select the songs we want and don't want played! NO 'WE ARE FAMILY!' 'NO CHA CHA!' 'NO YMCA!' 

Deposits are made. 

We are locked in.

cookies in the making

yesterday afternoon i got a taste for chocolate chip cookies, then sugar cookies, and peanut butter blossoms. after hours of baking (with one cookie sheet!) i got them all done except the chocolate chip. those i'll finish tonight. 

we are going to look at reception halls today. i really hope the 100th bombing group is what i'm making it out to be. i think to follow the 40's theme wedding this place would be perfect. 

What the HTML!

so, i'm still trying to get used to this blog. its been quite awhile since i've done anything with html. i'll get there i suppose. i just want to add friends gosh dang it! 

in the meantime, i was going through the computer and found this picture from the first day we brought izzy, our cat home. i do miss the old place sometimes. the character of the old building was amazing... but the maintenance was awful. i really need to paint this new place. 

A New Start

I finally decided to pick up where I left off with my Livejournal. This time I'm going to use this more for fun, and pictures instead of complaining. As my fun and quirky ex-coworker/new friend taught me... stay positive. 

Lots of new and fun things are coming in the next year, so stay tuned! So I leave you with a picture of Maggie.
